Popular backup service Backblaze has released v9.0 of its flagship software for general release.
The new version, released September 28, is currently available for macOS and Windows. Among the newest features are a simplified restore initiation process, and the removal of limits for restore size. For the latter, the new update means that there are no limits to restore sizes on the app, removing a source of frustration for users.
For Mac users, version 9.0 is available for devices with OS X 11 (Big Sur) or higher.
While the new version should offer the same stability and reliability, keep in mind that any new program release can have a few bugs and quirks that haven’t fully been identified or ironed out.
