Autodesk has released Flame 2021, the newest version of its compositing, finishing, and effects program.

The new release boasts a variety of new features, including:

  • AI-augmented human face extraction

  • HDR Dolby Vision implementation and display workflow

  • GPU-accelerated Defocus effects

  • The ability to quickly save and recall color grading and VFX

  • A new video preview mode

Flame 2021 is retailing for $4415 for a one-year license, $11,920 for a three-year license, or for a subscription priced at $550 per month. A free 30 day trial is also available for new customers.
