Autodesk has released the latest version of Flame, its flagship compositing, finishing and effects software, along with updates to Flame Assist and Flare.
Perhaps the most noteworthy new features in the Flame 2023 family of products (excepting Lustre) is its integration with Amazon Web Services (AWS), representing a major first step toward becoming a more cloud-centric offering.
Flame 2023 is also now supported on Rocky Linux, which replaces CentOS, and on Apple Silicon Mac devices via the Rosetta 2 emulator.
The new update also features several user interface and workflow improvements.
Flame 2023 licenses are priced at $580 per month or $4635 per year for CentOS 7.6 (although discontinued), Rocky Linux 8.5 and macOS version 10.15 and higher.
