MacBook users looking to upgrade their laptops might want to wait a couple of months.
News hit earlier this month that Apple will be releasing more powerful 16-inch models of its high-end laptop line in November.
The upcoming 16-inch models will feature the latest version of Apple’s proprietary processor chip (referred to within the industry as either M1X or M2) with 10 CPU cores (eight for high-performance and two for efficiency). Customers will also be able to choose between 16-core or 32-core GPU models.
No pricing for the laptops have been released as of yet, and the production delays that have plagued high-tech products have apparently pushed back the release of the laptop, but power users seeking a mobile high-performance system will most likely want to hold off until the latest line ships.
