The recent 10.15.4 version of macOS Catalina is reported to be creating widespread headaches for MacBook owners.
Among complaints on user forums and blogs from MacBook owners affected by the recent update are:
Kernel panic glitches
Regular system crashes
System slowdowns
“Bricking” computers where they are rendered dead and/or inoperable.
Many of the issues are reported to be occurring while attempting large file transfers.
While complaints about the update are widespread, nothing has currently been confirmed or patched by Apple. MacOS users, especially MacBook owners, who have yet to upgrade to the latest version are encouraged to hold off until the next patch or update is released to the operating system.
