Microsoft Patches VPN Flaw

Microsoft has released a series of patches to resolve the issues caused by a set of software updates earlier this month.

The updates resolve issues with VPNs, Virtual Machines and some removable media failing to mount.

The issues caused by the updates as part of the company’s January 2022 Patch Tuesday posed a major conundrum for many Windows users: The updates fixed several major security vulnerabilities, but effectively hamstrung business-critical functionality for many.

The updates are currently available for most recent and current versions of Windows. Be sure to check your “Optional Updates” See link here to determine the update for your particular Windows version.
