Google’s G Suite platform has just unveiled a beta program allowing users to share folders in shared drives.
The feature adds a level of functionality that has long been requested by users and has been a standard in competing platforms such as Dropbox.
“Access levels assigned at the shared drive level represent the minimum level of access users will have to all files and folders within that shared drive. This ensures transparency, predictability, and scalability,” Google announced on their official G Suite blog.
The beta is currently available for G Suite Business, G Suite Enterprise, G Suite for Education, G Suite Enterprise for Education, and G Suite for Nonprofits customers.
