Autodesk is increasing the price of new multi-user subscriptions this month.
The software company will hike the cost of multi-user subscriptions roughly $14 for individual software programs, including 3ds Max, Mudbox, Maya, and Arnold and software collections such as the Media & Entertainment Collection by about 33%.
The price increases appear to apply to all countries and territories, and will be effective February 7 for annual terms and February 15 for multi-year terms.
“Reading between the lines, it appears Autodesk is slowly trying to eliminate network licenses. Obviously, they would rather sell you two licenses as opposed to have you share one [sic] between two users,” wrote industry blogger Darren J Young.
