Foundry has just released versions 12.1 of Nuke, NukeX, and Nuke Studio, its line of node-based compositing software.
Among the new and improved features in 12.1 are:
Shuffle Node - Nuke 12.1 introduces a new version of Shuffle node, replacing both Shuffle and Shuffle copy from previous versions. The new version can support one or two inputs and up two eight channels per layer.
Nuke Spherical Transform and Bilateral - Foundry has consolidated the NukeX and Cara VR versions of SphericalTransform Bilateral and added greater GPU support.
Cara VR GPU Caching - Nuke 12.1 boasts a substantial improvement in viewer processing and rendering for Cara VR nodes.
Grid Warp Tracker Improvements - The new version of NukeX’s Grid Warp Tracker includes new export options for tracking data.
HieroPlayer and Flipbook - Foundry has significantly improved the launch speed for instances of Hieroplayer, and allows users to use it as a flipbook tool.
Node-locked and floating licenses of Nuke 12.1 retail for $4988. NukeX and Nuke Studio 12.1 costs $9928 and $10758, respectively.
